NOTE
It is possible that no signal can be received due to the surrounding
buildings or because the distance is too great.
If you are unable to establish an automatic connection to the
outdoor sensor, you can do this manually:

Press and hold the
flashes on the outdoor temperature panel r.
♦
Press the TX button d to manually activate the radio signal
of the outdoor sensor.
The temperature station automatically starts to receive the DCF
signal after 3 minutes, irrespective of whether the outdoor sensor
reception search has been successful or not.
The reception symbol
lower part of the reception symbol ( ) is flashing on the display 4,
this means that the reception of the DCF signal is too weak and the
time cannot be synchronised. Try and find a set-up location where
the reception symbol ( ) flashes completely on the display 4.
If the DCF signal is being received correctly, the current central Euro-
pean Time (CET) is displayed on the time panel

If synchronisation with the DCF signal is not possible when you are
setting up the appliance, you can restart the reception attempt or
switch off the automatic DCF reception function and set the time
manually (see section Basic settings).
