Die Dachdurchführung wird auf dem Fahrzeugdach mit handelsüblicher Karosserieklebedichtmasse verklebt
und kann zusätzlich verschraubt werden, was wir auch empfehlen. Für die Reinigung der Dachdurchfüh-
rung und des Daches verwenden Sie bitte ein spezielles Reinigungsmittel, welches vom Hersteller der stark
klebenden Karosseriedichtmasse (z.B. Sikaflex, Teroson 1K-Pur, Würth Klebt und dichtet) empfohlen wird.
Tragen Sie nach Ablüften des Reinigers die Dichtmasse auf die Unterseite der Dachdurchführung auf,
drücken Sie diese fest und verschrauben Sie diese mit den beiliegenden 4 Blechschrauben.
Drehen Sie die Hutmutter der Dachdurchführung erst zu, nachdem Sie die Kabellänge auf dem Dach angepasst
haben.

d) Dichten Sie den unteren Rand der Dachdurchführung sowie die Blechschrauben ebenfalls mit Dicht-
masse durchgehend rundum ab.
e) Sollte das Kabel innerhalb des Fahrzeugs zu lang sein, schneiden Sie es bitte nicht ab, wickeln Sie es auf.
Prüfen Sie abschließend die Dichtigkeit an der Kabeleinführung, an den Blechschrauben und am Fuß der
Dachdurchführung.

Place the outdoor unit on the mounting plate so that the connector housing and the cable outlet of the outdoor
unit point towards the rear of the vehicle, and tighten the four fastening screws again. Do not forget to install
the small covers. Any other position of the system is not allowed and leads to the expiry of the warranty. If the
mounting plate was correctly installed beforehand, the cable outlet must point towards the rear of the vehicle.
Attaching the roof Adapter fitting (cable feed-through)
Mount the roof duct on the vehicle roof so that the cable fitting points towards the rear of the vehicle.
The product warranty covers only this mounting position.
For uncomplicated cable routing inside the vehicle, preferably keep the distance between the roof duct and the
control unit as short as possible.
a) Make a roof opening with a suitable diameter for the cable duct. (See table).

b) Lay the cable fixed on the vehicle roof so that there is no noise while driving. Use a cable duct, for
example.
c) Bond the roof duct to the vehicle with standard structural adhesive, and fix it with screws as well, which
we also recommend. For cleaning the mounting roof duct, please use the special cleaning agent which
is recommended by the manufacturer of the structural adhesive (such as Sikaflex, Teroson 1K-Pur, Würth
„Bond + Seal").
After the cleaner has evaporated, apply the structural adhesive to the underside of the roof duct, press
the roof duct on tightly, and fasten it with the enclosed four self-tapping screws.
