Adding further items (tare function)

You can reset the scales to "0" to weigh additional quantities.
Press the TARE button 3. The scales will display "0" grammes again and

also "Tare".
Place the additional ingredient on the scales. The display 2 shows the

weight of the newly added item as well as "Tare".
You can repeat this procedure several times. However, never place more than
5,000 grammes on the scales at a time.
NOTE

■ To end the tare function, remove all the items from the scales. Then press the
TARE button 3. The scales will show "0" again and "Tare" will disappear
from the display 2.

value. "-" appears in front of the weight on the display 2.
