1. INTRODUCTION

This manual, which contains information on the K-Series, is to be consid-
ered as an integral part of the Pump instruction manual and of the Inverter
instruction manual. The three publications are to be considered as comple-
mentary to each other, so make sure you have all of them. We recommend
you to comply with the provisions contained in them for the correct opera-
tion and optimum performance of the system. For further information, con-
tact the authorised dealer or service centre closest to you.
THE REPRODUCTION, EVEN PARTIAL, OF ANY IMAGES AND/OR TEXT
FOR ANY PURPOSE WHATSOEVER IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.
The following symbols have been used to draft this instruction manual in or-
der to highlight the consequences of failing to comply with these provisions:

3. WARRANTY AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN IN THIS MANUAL
AND/OR ANY OPERATIONS PERFORMED ON THE PRODUCT BY ANYONE

When you receive the product, make sure that the packaging has not been

damaged externally (breaks/large dents); if it has, immediately report the

damage to the person making the delivery. Then, remove the product from

its packaging and check it for shipping damage; report any damage to the

retailer within 8 days from delivery. Check that the features on the product's

nameplate match those requested in your order.

4. GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS

Before using the product, the user must be sure that they will be able to

carry out all the operations described in this manual and will perform them

whenever using or servicing the product.

4.1 PREVENTION MEASURES TO BE ADOPTED BY THE USER

The user must strictly observe all local safety and accident

prevention regulations; they must also observe the product's
page 8
specifications (see "TECHNICAL DATA").

Use protective gloves at all times while handling and/or
page 8
servicing the product.

When repairing or servicing the product, shut off its power
supply to prevent the risk of accidental start-up, which
could result in personal injury and/or damage to property.
The appliance can be used by children aged at least 8 years and
by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities,
or without any experience or suitable knowledge, as long as
they are supervised or after receiving proper instructions
on the safe use of the appliance and on the related risks
and hazards. Children must not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and maintenance activities to be performed by
the user must not be carried out by unsupervised children.
Attempting to service, install or move the product while
its electrical equipment is live can result in serious and
even fatal injury.
When starting up the product, make sure you are wearing
shoes and not standing in water, and that your hands are dry.
The user must not carry out on their own initiative any
operation which is not explicitly allowed in this manual.
Before starting the system, check that all the electrical
equipment and devices, including cables, are in good
working order.
In the event of any malfunction, stop the pump. Using a
malfunctioning pump may cause physical injury or damage
to property.
