• The device tester has been built and tested in accordance with
- DIN VDE 0404-1 and -2
- DIN EN 61010-1 (VDE 0411-1)
- DIN EN 61010-2-030 (VDE 0411-2-030)

• This device was shipped in a safe condition.
• To ensure safe operation and to avoid damaging the device, always observe the safety information and
warnings in these instructions.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the device is not permitted for safety and certifica-
tion reasons.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about the operation, safety or connection of the device.
• The measurement device and its accessories are not toys and must be kept out of the reach of children.
• For installations in industrial facilities, follow the accident prevention regulations for electrical systems
and equipment issued by the national safety organisation or the corresponding national authority.
• In schools, educational facilities, and hobby and DIY workshops, meters must be used under the re-

reduced physical and mental capabilities.
• Before each measurement, always ensure that the measurement device is not set to the wrong meas-

• Always remove the test leads from the test object before changing the function.
• The voltage between the measurement device connection points and earth must never exceed 300 V
in CAT II.
• Exercise particular caution when working with voltages higher than 33 V (AC) and 70 V (DC). Even at
these voltages, there is a danger of fatal electric shock if you touch electrical conductors.
• To prevent an electric shock, do not touch the measurement points when taking measurements, either
directly or indirectly. When taking measurements, do not touch any area beyond the grip markings on
the probe tips.
