4.2.2 Cleaning

hose) directly onto the electrical parts of the
bicycle (battery, motor, display, etc.)
1. Spray the bicycle with mains water to remove coarse dirt.
2. Clean the bicycle with a neutral, non-abrasive cleaning
agent (pH-value between 6 and 8) and lukewarm water.
3. Allow the cleaning agent to penetrate in accordance with
the information on the label of the cleaning agent.

4. Rinse the bike off with mains water. Preferably use warm
water at a temperature of approximately 40 °C.
5. Wipe the bicycle off with a soft and clean cloth.
6. Clean the battery carefully with a soft damp cloth.

7. Mount the battery back on the bicycle:

A. Do this by placing the battery with the contacts on
the lower holder (the battery can be placed up to an

7° angle in relation to the frame).
B. Tilt the battery as far as possible in the upper holder
until this makes an audible click.
8. Check in all directions that the battery is firmly in place.
