6 Replacing the Communication Assembly

18. Disconnect the communication assembly from the
inverter. To do so, release and remove the ribbon
cable from the communication assembly.

Dismantling the defective communication assembly
1. Disconnect the inverter and, if necessary, the power supply of the installed communication
modules from voltage sources (see Section 5, page 12).
2. Remove the plugs of the optional modules.
3. Release the screw of the communication assembly.
4. Remove the defective communication assembly:
• Press the right-hand retainer outwards until it
releases.
• Pull the communication assembly forwards out
of the right-hand retainer.
• Pull the communication assembly out of the left-
hand retainer.
Installing the new communication assembly
1. Install the new communication assembly:
