Intended Use

The Sunny Tripower Storage is an AC coupled battery inverter for parallel grid operation. The
Sunny Tripower Storage converts the direct current supplied by a battery into grid-compliant three-
phase alternating current. With a battery and a compatible energy meter, the Sunny Tripower
becomes a system for commercial purposes, such as increased self-consumption or peak shaving.
The product is intended for use in residential and industrial environments.
The product complies with DIN EN 55011 of class B, group 1 as well as IEC 61000-6-3 and IEC
61000-6-2.
The product is suitable for operation in coastal installation according to IEC 61701 in corrosivity
category C3.
The product must only be used as stationary equipment.
The product is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
With the product it is possible to feed the three-phase current directly into the low-voltage grid while
complying with the locally applicable connection requirements. If the product is operated with a
medium-voltage transformer, the low-voltage side must be configured in a star formation and the
neutral point grounded.
The product is not equipped with an integrated transformer and therefore has no galvanic isolation.
The product must not be operated with batteries whose outputs are grounded. This can cause the
product to be destroyed. The product may be operated with batteries whose enclosure is
grounded.
