USE
Once attached, the worker may move about therecommended work zone.
Upon completion of work, detach SRL snap hook; if applicable, reconnect
tagline clip to SRL snap hook before allowing lifeline to retract back into the SRL
housing. Always retract lifeline in a controlled manner.
6- CALCULATING FALL CLEARANCE DISTANCE
It is essential to understand how to calculate the fall clearance distance required
for each work application to avoid contact with a lower level.
The basic calculation and diagrams on the following page may be used to
determine Required Fall Clearance when using a self-retracting lifeline in an
overhead application.
