A Grill
General information
This device has many uses, including: preserving; cooking; making hot drinks; keeping liquids heated; blanch-
ing vegetables; etc.
Thick, syrupy liquids must be heated slowly and stirred constantly to prevent from scorching.
The device should not be left to boil dry as this can damage the enamel surface. The device must be left to
cool thoroughly before adding more water to prevent the possibility of scalding from steam.
There is the possibility of a smell arising during the first use. This will dissipate after a short period.
Capacity
The device has a capacity of 27 litres. The liquid level must be no higher than 4cm below the upper edge of
the machine.
Important information:
Before using for the first time, the device should be boiled.
Fill the device with about 6 litres of water, set the thermostat to maximum, then switch on by turning the
timer in a clockwise direction to 60 minutes. After the set time, the appliance switches off automatically. Once
cooled, the machine is ready to be used. The body of the pot may have elliptical form, which will get round
once it is warmed.
