5.1 Maintenance position of the robot
Physical storage conditions in a closed environment:
 See Tab. 5 on page EN-7
The robot mount iCAT mini serves for accommodating the welding torches in
exact position. The mount is fastened to the robot by means of cylinder head
screws and a robot flange. In case of a collision, the iCAT mini can be
deflected by up to 11° in X and Y direction. This reduces the risk of damaging
the torch, the peripheral equipment or the robot.
DANGER
Risk of injury due to unexpected start-up
For the entire duration of maintenance, servicing, dismounting and repair
work, the following instructions must be adhered to:
• Interrupt the power supply
• Close off the compressed air supply.
NOTICE
• The iCAT mini torch mount may only be put into operation by trained
personnel.

Maintenance position of the robot

Before mounting the iCAT mini and the cable assembly, the robot must be
moved in maintenance position. For this, the axes 4, 5 and 6 of the robot must
be set as follows:
• 4 Axis in neutral position
• 5 Axis in neutral position
• 6 Axis in neutral position
