Observe the attached safety instructions.
The iCAT mini is a collision protection and switch-off device for robot arc
welding. It may only be operated together with a welding robot authorized for
arc welding. Any other use is not allowed without the approval of the
manufacturer.
When using the device, the technical specifications of the manufacturer must
be observed.

The safety cut-out socket must be properly integrated into the higher ranking
control system.
Only a correct electrical integration of the cut-out signal guarantees a safe use
of the safety cut-out socket.
The use of the safety cut-out socket signal as Emergency Stop signal is
considered as a misuse.
WARNING
Hazards due to use contrary to the designated use
Use of the device contrary to its designated use might cause hazards for
persons, animals and material property.
• Use the device only according to its designated purpose.
• Do not convert or modify the device to increase power without
authorization.
• The device may only be used by authorised personnel (in Germany see
TRBS 1203).
• Wear the prescribed personal protective equipment.
• Keep the operating instructions within easy reach at the device for
reference and enclose the operating instructions when handing over the
product.
• Putting into operation, operating and maintenance work may only be
carried out by qualified personnel. Qualified personnel are persons who,
based on their special training, knowledge,
experience and due to their knowledge of the relevant standards, are able
to assess the tasks assigned to them and identify possible dangers (in
Germany see TRBS 1203).
• Keep other persons out of the work area.
• Observe the accident prevention regulations of the country in question.
