Decentralised ventilation unit – KWL
All of the following information and instructions are only intended for an autho-
rised qualified electrician!
The electrical connections and electrical commissioning may only be carried out by
qualified electricians .
Installation, servicing and maintenance work may only be carried out by qualified elec-
tricians .

Clean unit

The unit must be regularly checked and cleaned depending on the degree of contamination.
If the unit is out of operation for a long time, the unit must be activated for approximately one hour every 6 months.

Danger to life due to electric shock!
Touching live parts will lead to electric shock .
Before any servicing and maintenance work, isolate the unit from the power supply and secure against unin-
tentional restart!
Damage to the unit due to operation without a filter!
If the unit is operated without a filter, this can cause damage to the unit.
Unit operation is only permitted with a filter.
Clean unit with a vacuum cleaner, a small brush or a cloth and soapy water depending on the degree of contamination
(see Fig. 30).
The following agents must not be used to clean the unit:
– Sharp and pointed objects
– Aggressive cleaning agents
– Solvents
– Abrasive cleaning agents
– Pressurised water, compressed air or steam
