Adjustment and Starting Up – easyControls

5.1.1 System configuration

The most important configurations can be adjusted at a glance in the initial start-up menu:

5.1.2 Unit configuration

The current browser time including date and GMT is transferred
when "transfer browser time when saving" is activated.
Enter / change: Current date is displayed, the date can be
overwritten.
Enter / change: Current time is displayed, the time can be
overwritten.
Enter / change: Current time zone is displayed (standard for DE
GMT +1 or in summer GMT +2. The time zone can be
overwritten.
When checkbox is activated,
changeover will be automatic.
When checkbox is deactivated, the time will not be adjusted.
When checkbox is activated, the system will search for new
software on a daily basis. If a newer software version is found, it
will be installed automatically. The installation process starts
between 23:00 and 05:00 hrs.
Recommendation: Activate "automatic software updates"!
When checkbox is activated, all operation-critical parameters
and measured values are sent to the Helios portal server. You
can access your KWL ventilation unit and change settings via
the web portal www.easycontrols.net when you are on the go.
Further evaluations are also possible, such as temperature
profiles.
The current software version is updated by pressing the "Update
software now" button. The update includes the motherboard
firmware, the accessory components (KWL-EM, KWL-BEC,

KWL-CO

, KWL-VOC and KWLFTF) and all page contents.

Extract air: Control voltage for extract air/outgoing air fan

0 = Unit can be switched off.
