Clean the foam filter
and fine dust filter
NOTICE

Improper handling of the
appliance may result in dam-

Always use the correct fi l-

ter for the appliance, oth-
erwise the appliance may
not function optimally.
Never vacuum without

fi lters or with damaged fi l-
ters. The vacuumed dust
would penetrate the ap-
pliance and damage the
motor.
Do not wash the fi lter in a

washing machine or a dish-
washer.
The foam filter should be cleaned
on a regular basis. Should it be
damaged or is no longer suffi-
ciently cleanable, it must be re-
placed with a new one.
1. Remove the dust bin (8),
and remove the dust filter
unit (22), as described in sec-
tion "Emptying the dust bin" on
page EN-17.

2. Remove the filter holder (25)
from the dust filter unit hous-
ing (26).

3. Separate the filter holder (25)
into the foam filter (27), the
fine dust filter (28) and rubber
seal (29).
4. Wash the foam filter (27) and
the fine dust filter (28) under
running water.
5. Allow the foam filter (27) and
the fine dust filter (28) to dry
out completely.
6. Put the rubber seal (29) back
on the fine dust filter (28), the
