5.1 Ex-Cell flush mount enclosure
The basic design of the "Ex-Cell flush mount enclosure" is as per standard
Ex-Cell enclosure. Lid seal materials and geometry are identical too.
The mounting feet are replaced by a mounting frame, suitable for flush
mounting vertically or horizontally.
The lid mounting options are hinged/quarter turn, hinged/bolted or fully
bolted as per standard Ex-Cell enclosure.

5.2 Ex-Cell Eagle enclosure
The basic design of the "Ex-Cell Eagle enclosure" is as per standard Ex-Cell
enclosure. Lid seal materials and geometry are identical too.
The top of the enclosure has a sloped roof with overhanging drip bead to
prevent pooling of liquids and accumilation of other debris. It is suitable for
washdown application.
The lid mounting options are hinged/quarter turn, hinged/bolted or fully
bolted as per standard Ex-Cell enclosure.

Transport, handling and storage

The terminal boxes type Ex-Cell XL-T should be handled with care; any
damage may invalidate the certification.
Where possible the terminal boxes type Ex-Cell XL-T should be transported
and stored in their original packaging.
The terminal boxes type Ex-Cell XL-T should only be transported when the
door is secured by the locking devices.
If it is necessary to transport the terminal boxes type Ex-Cell XL-T whilst
they are lying flat (lid facing up), the rear face should be fully supported.
The terminal boxes type Ex-Cell XL-T should preferably be stored in the
correct orientation with the door secured to prevent any ingress whilst in
storage, if it is necessary to store the terminal boxes laying down (resting
on the rear face) then the points below should be observed.
– For larger terminal boxes, sizes from 1000mm x 800mm and larger
special caution should be taken when moving the enclosures to avoid
any undue skewing of the cabinets:
– If the terminal box is resting on its rear face the lid should not be left
unsupported in the open position, note: the door stay fitted on larger
terminal boxes is only designed to be used with the terminal box in the
correct orientation.
