Chapter II Installation and operation
Installation and operation:
Connect the pump body, cylinder and hose reliably together, and check that the cylinder and the base are reliably connected and place
them stably before pressurization.
Jacking operation:
1. Tighten the oil drain valve knob clockwise.
2. Slowly apply pressure to the handle to ensure that the ram attachments are in line with the load axis for reliable jacking.
3. Press the handle up and down to provide pressure to the pump body assembly.
Lowering operation:
After use, slowly loosen the oil drain valve counterclockwise (no more than one turn) until the piston retracts to the starting position.
Chapter III Maintenance
1. After use, put all the parts into the toolbox, and make sure the piston returns to the original position and the dust covers are installed.
2. Regularly check the plunger and piston for rust and corrosion, and then apply a proper amount of lubricating oil after cleaning.
3. Place the piston to the lowest position and leave the pump body in a fully horizontal position. Remove the oil filler piston and check the
hydraulic oil level. If it is low, please add the right amount of high quality hydraulic oil. (Always add the hydraulic oil with antifreeze in cold
areas)
4. To ensure optimum performance and long life of the equipment, it is recommended to change the hydraulic oil completely every year.
350ml of hydraulic oil is required for 4T portable jack and 500ml for 10T portable jack. (Note: Dispose the used hydraulic oil in accordance
with local regulations.)
5. Inspect part frequently, and please apply grease timely in case of insufficient lubricating grease in rotating and transmission parts such
as the piston rod top end, cross shaft, universal joint, roller, caster.
6. It is recommended to carry out annual inspection by professional technical personnel.
