In the "Settings" menu you can also select the language
with which you want to work on FSA 740 Edition. This
language is also true for the other Bosch applications.

Speed symbols

When measuring engine speed, the FSA system software
selects the best speed source automatically.
The selected speed source is displayed in the status bar
on the screen.

Operating the FSA system software

You can operate the FSA system software using the
function keys and buttons on the PC keyboard, the USB
mouse or the remote control.

Please note that:
$
the keyboard must always be connected to the
PS2 socket of the remote control receiver.
$
the channel setting must always be configured
first before operating the remote control (see 1
689 979 936).
The <ESC>, <F1> to <F12> function keys are hardkeys
and softkeys:
R
Hardkeys (<ESC>, <F1>, <F10>, <F11> and <F12>)
are keys with permanent functions. These keys retain
the same functions in all program steps.
R
Softkeys (<F2> to <F9>) are keys with alternating
functions. The functions for these keys change de‑
pending on the selected test step. The softkeys are
described in the Online Help.
R
If a hardkey or softkey is "greyed out" in a program
step, it has no function.
R
You can select hardkeys and softkeys using the
mouse, keyboard or remote control.
Information on how to operate the FSA system software
is available in the Online Help.
