Operating the FSA system software

You can operate the FSA 450 system
software using the buttons on the keypad or
the touchscreen.
Robert Bosch GmbH
Hardkeys (Power and Help) are buttons with
permanent functions. These keys retain the
same functions in all applications.
Softkeys (Menu, Arrow Keys, Enter, and
Exit) are buttons with alternate functions. The

functions for these keys change depending on
the selected step or particular application.

FUNCTION
Turns power on/off for the FSA
450 Engine Analyzer. Press to
turn power on. Press and hold
to turn power off.
Invokes the on-screen help file
for the particular function you
are using. Press to initiate the
help menus.
Navigates through the software.
The function of this key varies
depending on the application
you are using.
Moves left and right or up and
down. The function of these
keys varies depending on the
application you are using.
Confirms a menu item
selection. This is the same as
pressing a button on the touch
screen. The function of this key
varies depending on the
application you are using.
Exits the screen. This is the
same as pressing the Exit
button on the touch screen.
Lightens or darkens the screen
display.
