Using the oven

Operation

Select an oven function and temperature suitable for
your dish by turning the appropriate control knobs
to the desired position.

Oven functions / Heating modes

Convection
The fan, the upper outer and the concealed lower heating element
are in operation. The even heating saves 30-40% energy.
The food is browned on the outside and remains juicy on the inside.
Suitable for roasting at high temperatures or for large pieces of meat.
Top / bottom heat
The upper outer and the concealed lower heating element are in operation.
Suitable for many conventional / classic recipes.
Only suitable for cooking on one level.
Bottom heat
The concealed lower heating element is in operation.
For concentrated heat from below without browning the top of the food.
Suitable for reheating food or for dishes with long cooking times,
such as casseroles, stews or pastries.
Bottom heat with fan
The fan and the concealed lower heating element are in operation.
The temperature can be set in the range of 50°C to 250°C.
Suitable for recipes with a moist topping and crispy dough, such as pizza,
quiche, fruit or cheesecake. Preheating of the oven recommended.
Double grill
The two upper heating elements are in operation.
The temperature can be set in the range of 50°C to 250°C;
to avoid grease splashes, a temperature of 165°C is recommended.
Suitable for grilling larger quantities.
Grill
The grill element (upper inner heating element) is in operation.
The temperature can be set in the range of 50°C to 250°C;
to avoid grease splashes, a temperature of 165°C is recommended.
Suitable for grilling small quantities and for browning food.
Place the food centrally under the grill.
Note:
During hot air circulation, slight operating noises / vibrations of the fan may
occur depending on the time of use and heat development.
This is normal and harmless.
