Possible risk of burns or scalding on hot parts or due to water vapour or hot liquids.
The coffee-dispensing cartridge can become very hot during operation. You may get burned when
touching it. You may be scalded by hot beverages.

Do not touch the spots or surfaces directly adjacent to it.
>
Avoid making contact with dispensed liquid.
>
Handle hot beverages with care.

Allow the machine to cool down before cleaning it. Also do so when adding or removing
accessories.
Potential risk to health
Failing to clean the water tank or using food or materials other than coffee can impair your health.

Clean the machine regularly according to the instructions in Chapter 5 "Looking after your coffee
pad machine" on page 19 and following.
>
Only use clean cold drinking water to replenish the water in the water tank.
>
Only place coffee softpads into the pad cartridge.
