SAFETY
For utmost safety and to gain maximum satisfaction
and benefit from these products, carefully read these
Instructions for Use in full and view the training animation
on our website – www.triodent.com.

WARNINGS
The V3 Sectional Matrix System contains small, sharp
parts. Use of rubber dam is mandatory to prevent the
potential for inhalation or ingestion of such parts.
Aspiration: If inhalation of parts occurs, seek immediate
medical attention.
Ingestion: If accidental swallowing occurs, encourage
patient to seek medical assistance to locate swallowed
part. If nausea or illness develops, seek medical attention
immediately.
Laceration: The Triodent matrices are sharp, and may
cut unprotected skin. Handling matrices with gloved
hands and/or pin tweezers or similar instrument is
recommended. In the event a clean matrix causes a skin
laceration, employ usual first aid measures. Discard and
properly dispose of matrix.
Handling: Used matrices and accessories
are contaminated. Follow proper exposure
control plans. When handling or disposing, use
precautions as when handling or disposing
other contaminated sharps. In the event of an
accidental exposure, follow recommended post-
exposure procedures.
Care should be taken to have good control of any
instrument to protect patients from injury.
PRECAUTIONS
This product is intended to be used only as
specifically outlined in the Instructions for Use.
Any use of this product inconsistent with the
Instructions for Use is at the discretion and sole
responsibility of the practitioner.
Small parts under tension: Check that the
ring is positioned correctly in the forceps before
placement. Before withdrawing forceps, check
that the ring is seated securely apically.
Tie dental floss to the V3 Ring for added security.
Rings and instruments should be steam-
autoclaved at 134°C/273°F for at least 3
minutes before use for sterility.
Do not use chemical sterilization techniques.
Ensure that phosphoric acid etchants are
removed from the tines prior to steam sterilization.
Wear suitable protective eyewear and gloves.
Wedges and matrices are for single use only.
Properly dispose of contaminated single-use
items and sharps.
Do not use accessory tools other than those
designed, supplied, and/or outlined for use with
the V3 System. Injury may result. (See Step by
Step Instructions).

ADVERSE REACTIONS

Product misuse may cause failure resulting
in respiratory, digestive, eye, skin, or mucosa
injury. (See Contraindications, Warnings and
Precautions).
Failure to employ accepted handling and disposal
techniques may present biohazard. (See Warnings
and Precautions).
