SYSTEM
The V3 Ring produces high-quality, anatomically
accurate restorations. The nickel-titanium ring has
exceptional strength for stability and exerts optimal
separation force on the teeth to produce consistently
tight contacts. The V-shaped tines ensure there is no
competition with the wedge in the embrasure, and
they grip both teeth equally, preventing the ring from
collapsing into wide cavities.
Please carefully read all of the following information
to ensure that you and your patients gain the
maximum benefit and satisfaction from all of the
simple and smart innovations we have designed
within the V3 System.
SYSTEM ADVICE
V3 RING
The tough and durable V3 Ring produces ideal tooth
separation and outstanding grip.
V3 TAB MATRIX
The V3 Tab-Matrix is the most anatomically accurate
matrix on the market. Its range of features are there
to produce the most natural restorations possible,
while at the same time making the job of the dentist
much easier.
WAVE WEDGE
Used with the V3 Ring, the Wave-Wedge has
unsurpassed sealing capability at the gingival
margin. Its smart features, including a central
concavity – the 'wave' – ensure it stands head and
shoulders above any other non Triodent wedge
available.
WEDGEGUARD
WedgeGuards minimise the risk of damaging the
adjacent tooth and the papilla so you can do your
preps better and faster at the same time. After cavity
prep, the guard is detached while the wedge stays
in place, ready for the insertion of a matrix beside
it. Leaving the wedge in place prevents reactive
hyperemia, ensuring a cleaner working area.
PIN-TWEEZERS AND FORCEPS
Triodent Pin-Tweezers and Forceps are designed to
hold and place Triodent rings, matrices and wedges
with ease and security not matched by other
tweezers, forceps and pliers.
We recommend that only Triodent Pin-Tweezers
and Forceps are used with the V3 System.
PIN-TWEEZERS
Use Triodent Pin-Tweezers to avoid dropping
matrices and wedges. Squeeze the tweezers at the
back to open and near the tip to grip. When gripping
the matrix, ensure that the gold side of the tweezers
tips will be facing away from the tooth. Otherwise
the pin can be difficult to disengage from the tab.
Check the gingival margin for gaps. If necessary,
place a second wedge. You can do this with the ring
and matrix in place, without starting over.
INDICATIONS
The V3 Sectional Matrix System™ is indicated for all
Class II restorations.
V3 features three main components: the V3 Ring™,
the V3 Tab-Matrix™, and the Wave-Wedge™, and
can also be used with WedgeGuard™.
