After drilling hole in skull and penetrating the dura,

1. Screw in bolt.

4. Zero the transducer, then place
fingers at 5 cm and insert catheter
until fingers touch top of bolt.

7. Hold catheter from above, pull strain
relief down and attach to bolt.
7a. When the red depth indicator is
visible above the strain relief,
catheter tip (transducer) position
must be checked to ensure desired
depth is achieved.

2. Clear path with stylet.
