If the display shows E-1, the measurement was
unsuccessful. Check the position of your hands
and start the measurement again.
b) If the measurement succeeds, your body mass
index (BMI) and the corresponding % value are
displayed.
c) Press the Bodyfat button again when you want
to return to the training program.

2. FITNESS TRAINING/FITNESS TEST
In this program, your fitness condition is
determined based on your personal data (U1
-- U4) and documented using the values F1 - F5.
Pulse measurement is necessary for this. (Do not
confuse this with the Index numbers F1 - F6 of
the Recovery function.) The program runs for
12 minutes at a constant level 5. The 12 minutes
are distributed over the 16 bars of the diagram,
resulting in 45 seconds per bar. Pedal at a speed
that is comfortable for you. You will find the
specifications for the training sequence in the
following chapters.

NOTES ON ADJUSTING THE RESISTANCE
(LEVEL)
1.MANUAL PROGRAM TRAINING
During training, use the +/-buttons to change the
resistance (Level), which is not program-controlled
during training.
2. FITNESS PROGRAM TRAINING / FITNESS
TEST
No adjustments are made because constant preset
values are used for training in this case.

3. WATT TRAINING
If the Watt program is running, the console
automatically regulates the resistance.
The resistance (Level 1 -- 16) is adjusted in
accordance with the crank rotational speed.
Example: If the rotational speed of the crank is
too low, the resistance is increased. A signal will
sound if your performance is excessively high for
a lengthy period so that the resistance does not
become excessively high and your pedaling speed
(rotational speed) is adjusted. If your performance
is excessively low, a signal will sound. In either
case, slowly adjust your pedaling speed. If your
performance is too weak for a lengthy period, a
signal will sound, and the console will switch off.
TRAINING MODES
PROGRAM PROFILE TRAINING
The resistance (Level) of the program bars is
automatically regulated. You may increase the
basis of the profiles during training using the +/-
buttons.
The maximum possible adjustment of the basis
has been reached once the highest profile bar has
achieved the top level of 16.
HRC PROGRAM
Target Heart Rate Control training
(% range and pulse preset (upper limit))
The resistance is automatically adjusted in
accordance with your preset value.
USER PROGRAM, PROFILE TRAINING
The user programs consist of program
profiles (bars) that you design yourself.
DESIGNING YOUR OWN PROGRAMS (USER)
Press the Enter button for 3 seconds.
Stop will blink. U1-U4 appears on the display.
Press the +/- buttons to select the user number.
Press the Enter button.
U1-4 will appear on the display, and SEX will
blink.
Press the +/- buttons to select the user's sex
(male or female).
Press the Enter button.
Now enter the Age, Height and Weight as
before.
Press the Enter button.
The programs will appear at the top edge of the
display.
Press the + button and select the User program.
