3.2 General safety instructions

CAUTION
Use of the product on damaged skin
Skin irritation, formation of eczema or infections due to contamination with germs
Only use the product on healthy skin.

CAUTION
Volume fluctuations or changes of the affected limb
Injuries, pressure sores, skin irritation, circulatory disorders and paralytic symptoms caused by
problems with the fit
► Do not continue using the product if problems with the fit occur.
► Please consult your prosthetist in case of problems with the fit or signs of skin damage, even
if they are only minor.
► Check the skin of the affected limb daily for damage and sensitivity disturbances (visually
and by palpitating).

Reuse on other patients

► Use the product on only one patient.
NOTICE
Contact with heat, embers or fire
Damage to the product due to high temperatures
► Keep the product away from open flames, embers and other sources of heat.

Mechanical damage to the product
Change in or loss of functionality due to damage
► Use caution when working with the product.
► If the product is damaged, check it for proper function and readiness for use.
► In case of changes in or loss of functionality, do not continue using the product (see "Signs
of changes in or loss of functionality during use" in this section).
► Take any necessary measures (e.g. repair, replacement, inspection by the manufacturer's
customer service, etc.).
Signs of changes in or loss of functionality during use
Among other factors, changes in functionality can be indicated by an altered gait pattern, a
change in the positioning of the prosthetic components relative to each other and by the develop­
ment of noises.
