If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by turning the
equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct
the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and
receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different
from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for

Pairing
Pairing refers to the initial coupling of two devices.
After inserting the batteries, pairing mode is active for up
to 5 minutes. This is indicated by the red LED on the remote
control flashing. The LED stops flashing after pairing has
been successfully completed.
Installing the head shower
When installing on e.g. plasterboard walls (not solid walls),
you must use suitable reinforcements to ensure that the wall
is strong enough to support the device.
Installing the shower arm
See additional installation instructions enclosed.
Functional test,

A functional test must be carried out immediately after
installation to test whether the pairing was successful.
Turn on the water supply using the installed faucet.
The GROHE PureRain spray (uniform spray
with large, soft droplets) is preset at the factory.

Cause

The spray pattern can be changed by pressing the buttons
on the remote control:
GROHE ActiveRain (powerful spray from the center
of the shower head)
or
both spray patterns activated in parallel
If adjustment of the spray pattern is unsuccessful, the following
steps must be undertaken within 5 minutes:
• Remove battery from remote control, wait 30 seconds and
reinsert or replace
• Remove batteries from head shower, wait 30 seconds and

The spray pattern can only be set when the water is running.
After the water supply has been switched off, the last spray
pattern used remains selected as the start spray pattern
for 30 minutes. After that, the shower head will start with
the preset spray pattern when the water supply is switched
back on.

The spray pattern is preset as the start spray pattern by
IP57
pressing the corresponding button for longer than 3 seconds.
The shower head starts with this spray pattern when the water

is turned on again after a break of more than 30 minutes.

Maintenance
Changing the battery
The indicators that signal that the battery needs to be changed
are activated when the battery has a remaining capacity
of approx. 10 % (see Fault / Cause / Remedy).
The pairing between the head shower and the remote control
remains unaffected.
Note: All settings saved by the user will be retained when
changing the battery or if the battery discharges.
Shower head
The unchanged functioning of the SpeedClean nozzles
is guaranteed for a period of 5 years.

Disposal notes

This category of device does not belong in the
domestic waste, but must be disposed of separately
in accordance with the relevant national regulations.
Remedy
The following steps must be taken within 5 minutes:
- Remove battery from remote control,
wait 30 seconds and reinsert or replace
- Remove batteries from head shower,
wait 30 seconds and reinsert or replace
- Replace batteries
- Replace battery
