4.3 Calibration
The FiveGo™ DO meter allows you to run a 1­point or 2­point calibration. The first calibration must be
run in air. The second calibration (optional) must be run in a zero-oxygen solution.
4.3.1 Running a one­point calibration
Before starting the calibration, make sure that the correct barometric pressure is entered (see "Baro-
met ric pressure entry").
a) Place the electrode in air.
b) Press CAL.
c) Press READ to finish the calibration.

d) Press EXIT to reject the calibration.
– or –
e) Proceed to run a 2-point calibration (see "Running a 2-point calibration").
Note
With the 1-point calibration, the theoretical value of 100% will be shown on the display.
4.3.2 Running a two­point calibration
a) Run the first point calibration as described in "Running a one­point calibration" above.
b) Place the electrode in the zero oxygen solution (see the description below for preparing the solution).
c) Press CAL.
d) Press READ.

Start meter self-diagnosis
The Calibration icon and the Measurement icon appear on the display.
The meter endpoints according to the preselected endpoint mode after the signal has stabilized
(or after pressing READ).
The relevant value is displayed and stored.
The measurement icon disappears from the display.
The Measurement icon appears.

The relevant calibration value is displayed and stored; the measurement icon disappears from
the display.
The offset value and the slope are then shown on the display for 3 seconds.
