MAINTENANCE

The 3TP pump does not normally need any maintenance.
In order to prevent possible damage to the pump, it is advisable to make periodic checks of the
power absorption and the pump head. It is not necessary to remove the pump from the well to
carry out checks.
The supply cable must only be removed by qualified technicians.
All repairs must be carried out by qualified technicians.

9. PROBLEMS POSSIBLE CAUSES AND SOLUTIONSI
Before beginning any work on the pump, check that the power supply has been
removed.
The megger test is not permitted on the 3TP because the electronic system could

9.1. The pump does not start or there is a low delivery of water.
The non-return valve is closed
The wrong pump has been chosen; too little water in
the well
Pipe is broken or blocked
The pump filter is blocked
Pump blocked or valve not working
Water leakage in the installation

9.2. The pump head is not sufficient
Too little water in the well for the type of pump
Wrong pressure
Leakage from the installation
Pump worn
The impellers are blocked

The differential trip switch has tripped

The pump or the supply cable are defective

The calibration of the pressure switch is not correct
The non-return valve is leaking or stays partially open
The voltage on the power supply is not stable

Remove the pump and choose a more suitable pump
for the characteristics of the well
Repair the pipe
Clean the pump filter
Remove the pump and repair it

the pump at the bottom of the well)
