11. Adjustment of the limit positions
Important! - Please note
• For the the methods for setting the limit positions described at a) to d), the motor must be in the condition of the factory default (delivery condition).
• If at least one limit position is set according to method b) to e) or only changed with e), the function „automatic calibration of the limit positions" is
disabled. To enable this function the limit positions must be set according to a) („Plug & Play"-function).
• The limit positions can be changed or adjusted as required by using the external setup button P1 - see e).
• For the methods b) to d) it is necessary to use our setup device HR130020.
• When applying method a) to d) both limit positions must be set as described (coherently, in one operation).
• The upper limit position that is automatically set according to a) or c) can be minimally adjusted with the function „Adjustment of the upper limit
position".
Detection of the rotation direction - depending on the installation situation
Requirements:
• It is essential to connect the wires of the motor according to point 6 - „colour on colour"
• This function is only active when setting the limit positions and at least one limit must be set automatically.
• If both limit positions are set manually, this function is deactivated. Possibly the directional wires at the switch must be swapped.
With this function the installation situation of the motor in the roller shutter box „motor head right" or „motor head left" must be differentiated.
in both cases the shaft must be positioned with the connection points of the shaft in the front (see illustration on the right).
Motor head right
If the connection has been made as described, the rotation direction, relative to the switch position is always correct.
The limit position adjustment can be made according to Point 11.1.
Motor head left
Please observe the instructions listed below pont 11 and proceed as described below point 11.2.
11.1 Adjustment of the limit positions „Motor head right"
a) Automatic setting of the upper and lower limit position - Plug & Play function
• To perform this function the motor may already be connected to the switch.
• The hanging must have stoppers or a rail against retraction into the roller shutter box.
• If the obstacle detection is disabled, this feature is not possible.
• If the obstacle detection is disabled, the lower limit position needs to be set manually - see c). The obstacle detection can also be disabled after the
automatic setting of the limit positions - see „Disable / enable obstacle detection".
• The below mentioned „Start from a central position" does not mean the exact center of the path of the hanging. This means that the hanging is
supposed have a minimum distance of approx. 150 mm from the upper and lower limit position, otherwise it may cause malfunction.
• After the automatic setting of the limit positions the function „automatic calibration of the limit positions" is enabled, if none of the limit positions was
changed according to e) with the setup button P1.
