The crown adapter as well as the drive adapter must not be screwed with the shaft.
Firstly, please place the motor with the side of the crown adapter in the shaft.
Important! - The motor needs to have sufficient space when using shafts with internal grooved seams.
Afterwards press the shaft completely onto the adapter on the motors head.
Important! - Make sure that the adapter does not move off of the motors head while assembling,
otherwise it will cause malfunction.
Placing the idler
Place the idler into the shaft. Afterwards put the
delivery) onto the axial pin of the idler.

4.3 Assembling the motor in the brackets

Bracket
(not included in scope of supply)
Put the motors head into the bracket and secure the motor with the safety parts of the bracket to prevent axial displacement.
Important! – Attention should be paid that the external setup button P1 (cable length approx. 25 cm) is easily accessible for the setting of the limit
positions. Otherwise, adjusting the limits can be very difficult or even impossible.
Idler bracket
(not included in scope of supply)
Fix the other part of the shaft with the idler onto the idler bracket. Adjust any inaccurateness through inserting or extracting of the idler.
• Secure idler with a screw to prevent axial displacement.
• The idler must be placed in a way that at least 2/3 of the idler are inside the winding shaft.
5. Safety instructions regarding connection to an electrical network
All work related to an electrical system carries risk to life (electric shock)
• The work on the mains supply of the tubular motor must only be performed by a qualified electrician.
• Disconnect all poles from the power line and secure the cables against unintentional reconnection.
• Observe the 5 safety rules.
• Only perform any assembly or connection work if the circuit is disconnected from the mains supply.
Risk of short circuit due to damaged cables.
Install electric cables in the roller shutter box properly so that it cannot be damaged due to moving parts.
Damage, short circuits and personal injury (electric shock) can be caused by damaged cables / wires. Therefore, if the cables are
damaged, the device must be taken out of service immediately and may no longer be used.
According to DIN VDE 0700 a suitable isolating device shall be provided with fixed devices for each phase. As separators, circuit
breakers (circuit breakers / fuses), FI (RCD) or FI / circuit breakers can be used.
Risk of short circuit by water due to incorrect wiring.
When laying the connection cable, make sure that the cable is not laid directly perpendicular (going up) to the motor. This can lead to
condensed water travelling along the cable and entering the motor. Create a cable loop which has its lowest part located below the
motor. The loop has the effect of a drip edge. Hence, condensed water can drop outside of the dangerous area.

6. Electrical connection

The power supply must be conform to the specifications. After the assembly of the motor, lead the connection cable to the designated junction or switch
box. In a flush mount box, the motor connecting cable is to be passed through a suitable conduit. A relocation of the motor connecting cable under
plaster is not permitted without a tube.
The connection on the mains supply must only be performed by a qualified electrician.
Connection line of the motor - Colours of the wires and their significance
L1
= External conductor rotation direction 1 (black)
L1
= External conductor rotation direction 2 (brown)
N
= Neutral conductor (blue)
PE
= Protective conductor (green/yellow)
Important! - the brown wire of the motor must always be connected with the „Upwards" direction of the switch or our setting device, item no.
