2.1 Description
A diaphragm seal measuring system consists of the following components:
Diaphragm seal with diaphragm

Transmission line (option, e.g. capillary)
■
Measuring instrument
■
Diaphragm seals are used for pressure measurement where no medium is allowed to
reach the measuring instrument. The medium only reaches the outside of the ~0.1 mm
thin diaphragm of the diaphragm seal. The pressure is transmitted to the measuring
instrument via the system fill fluid which is inside the diaphragm seal measuring system.
For a safe and error-free operation of the diaphragm seal measuring system, along with
the safety instructions, the following general handling, installation and maintenance
instructions of these operating instructions must be observed, and also the operating
instructions of the measuring instrument used.
