4.1 Selecting the Size
► Select the brace size based on the shoe size (see sizing table).
4.2 Fitting and Application
CAUTION
Incorrect or excessively tight application
Risk of local pressure and constriction of blood vessels and nerves due to improper or exces­
sively tight application
Ensure that the product is applied properly and fits correctly.
CAUTION
Use with heat-sensitive skin
Skin irritation due to overheating
Do not use the product in case of a known heat allergy.
Do not continue to use the product if skin irritation occurs.
NOTICE
Use of a worn or damaged product
Limited effectiveness
Before each use, check the product for functional reliability and for possible wear or dam­
age.
Do not continue using a product that is no longer functional, or that is worn or damaged.
NOTICE
Incorrect setting
Damage to the product due to incorrectly assembled or incorrectly adjusted components
The product may only be adjusted by qualified personnel.
Do not make any improper changes to the settings.

Open all hook-and-loop closures on the brace.

Remove the front shell from the brace.
1) Only Achilles Walker: Position the heel wedge (29S35) in the liner.
2) Position the foot in the brace (see fig. 1). Check the position of the heel whilst doing this.
3) INFORMATION: Do not change the position of the toe protector.
4) Close all hook-and-loop closures on the liner (see fig. 2).
5) Position the front shell so it is centered on the liner (see fig. 3).
6) Close all hook-and-loop closures on the Walker one after the other, starting at the top (see
fig. 4).
Increasing compression
CAUTION
Pumping up the air cushions too much
Risk of local pressure and constriction of adjacent blood vessels and nerves due to excessively
tight application
Only fill the air cushions with enough air to impede relative movements between the body
part and the brace.
1) To inflate, turn the rotary valve to the right [ Inflate ] (see fig. 5, item 1).
2) Push the pump (see fig. 5, item 2) as often as required to achieve the desired compression.
