IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:

• Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
• Prior to initial use, remove all packaging and marketing material from the appliance.
• Make sure the connected voltage corresponds to the values stated on the appliance type label. Use grounded
outlets only.
• Do not leave the appliance without supervision when it is in use, or connected to the wall outlet.
• Place the appliance on a stable and thermal resistant surface away from sources of heat.
• Adhere to the safe distance of appliances, a minimum of 10 cm from flammable materials such as furniture,
curtains, drapes, covers, paper, clothing etc.
• Do not cover the appliance, danger of overheating. Pay increased attention to making sure the steam outlet on
the lid does not become blocked.
• Do not place anything on the appliance while in use.
• Before you fill the appliance with oil or shortening and connect it to the wall outlet, make sure all of the parts
are completely dry and that no droplets of water are found in the fryer unit's interior.
• Do not connect the appliance to the outlet until you have filled it with oil or shortening. The level of oil or
shortening must always range between the minimum and maximum lines. Prior to each new frying, make sure
there is enough oil or shortening in the interior unit.
• Use only oils and shortening intended for frying. If you would like to add new shortening to the fryer, melt it first
on the kitchen range and then pour it into to interior of the turned-off appliance unit. Then turn it on.
• Do not overfill the basket as hot oil or shortening could flow over the unit's rim.
• Do not transfer the appliance while in use or with hot contents.
• Do not touch the hot surface. Use the handles and grips.
• Maintain the appliance clean. Do not allow foreign particles to penetrate into the steam outlet grate. This could
cause a short circuit or fire.
• Always remove the plug from the wall outlet when the fryer is not in use.
• When removing the plug from the wall outlet, never pull it by the cord but hold it by the plug and remove by
pulling gently.
• Do not allow children and ineligible persons to use the appliance. Use it away from their reach.
• Persons with reduced mobility, with reduced sensory perceptions, reduced mental competence or persons
unfamiliar with the use of the appliance must not use the appliance without the supervision of a responsible
person who is familiar with using the appliance.
• Pay increased attention if the appliance is being used in the near vicinity of children.
