CAUTION
• Prior to initial use, make sure the product is not visibly damaged. Remove all packaging material.
• Clean the outer part of the appliance with a damp cloth.
• Prior to cleaning the lid, remove the permanent filter.
• Wash the basket, frying unit and lid in hot water with dish detergent, rinse and allow to dry.
• Clean the control panel with a damp cloth only.
• Assemble the individual parts. The oil level markings should be on the rear wall of the frying unit.
• When frying, hot steam will escape when the lid is opened. Keep a safe distance.
• Always remove excess moisture from the food before frying by blotting. E.g. chips or frozen food could cause
excess foaming and spattering.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Place the deep fryer on a flat and stable surface.
2. Unwind the entire cord. Make sure it does not touch any nearby source of heat.
3. Press the button to open the lid, the spring will open the lid.
4. Tip both basket holders into the operational position and remove the basket
(Fig. 1).
5. Pour the oil into the frying unit and make sure it does not exceed the maximum
line (approximately 3.5 litres).
6. Set the temperature regulator to minimum (Fig. 2)and connect the appliance to
the wall outlet. The red power indicator will light up.
7. Select the required temperature, which corresponds to the prepared food. The
green ready indicator will light up. Once the indicator light goes out, this means
that the oil has reached the required temperature. Note: If you close the fryer lid,
the oil will heat up faster.
8. Open the fryer, place the basket into the drain position and place the food inside.
Close the lid and slowly submerge the basket into the heated oil.
9. Once frying is complete, set the temperature regulator to minimum.
10. Lift the basket into the drain position and allow the excess oil to drain.
11. Open the lid carefully.
12. Empty the basket and return it to the fryer.
13. Unplug the appliance from the wall outlet.
