c) Function "Format SD/USB"

Memory cards of type microSD or microSDHC and USB drives are usually formatted in the file system FAT/
FAT32 and can be used in the screen/DVR at once.
Conventional hard discs, however, are either empty/unformatted, or were partitioned/formatted on a com-
puter (and on Windows PCs usually in file system NTFS). In both cases, such hard discs could not be
operated at the screen/DVR.
For this reason, the screen/DVR in its function "Format SD/USB" offers the option of formatting the con-
nected data carrier in the file system FAT32.
Attention!
When formatting, all data on the respective data carrier will be lost!
• After calling the function, use the control buttons "S" or "F" (9) to choose between the "SD Card"
(memory card) or "USB Device" (USB data carrier).
• Briefly push the "OK" (8) button. A safety prompt appears.
• Use the control buttons "S" or "F" (9) to choose between "Cancel" and "OK" (yes, format data carrier):
