Pairing information
In order to communicate with each other, transmitter and
receivers must have the same encryption key, group ID and
channel name. Only then they can communicate with each
other. There will be no communication with receivers that do
not have the same pairing information. This is illustrated in the
figure below.

Encryption
The audio data is always encrypted with an AES-256 code to
ensure a secure transmission. The required key will be
generated within the charging unit itself or via the Unite
Manager PC software and transmitted to the transmitters and
receivers during the pairing process.
As the key is not transmitted via radio, the system is even
better protected against eavesdropping.
Should the receiver receive a different encrypted audio signal
for which no key has been saved, the received audio signal will
be muted. The receiver display will also alternate between
showing the relevant channel name and the "KEY!" error
message.
The encryption of the audio signal is shown schematically in
the following diagram.

Note: The group IDs in the range of 150 to 256 uses a factory-
defined key that cannot be changed. You can use this group ID
for a system without pairing.
