manner.
• Do not remove any type plates. These contain im-
portant information for the safe operation of the ap-
pliance.
• If you are inexperienced with the appliance, seek
training in how to use it safely.
• WARNING! TOXIC DUST! Working with harmful/
toxic dusts results in health hazards for the person
operating the appliance and for other persons in the
area.

Operation

Connecting the compressed air supply
NOTE! The compressed air sandblaster gun may only
be operated on cleaned, condensateand oil-free com-
pressed air and may not exceed the maximum ope-
rating pressure of 3.5 bar at the appliance. To ensure
that you can regulate the air pressure, the compressed
air source should be equipped with a (fi lter) pressure
reducer.
• Connect the compressed air sandblaster gun to a
suitable compressed air source by attaching the
quick-connect coupling of the supply hose to the
nipple (2) on the sandblaster gun . The connection
locks automatically.
Filling the blasting medium container
CAUTION! Before you open the screw cap (7) on the
blasting medium container (6), or make any other set-
tings, the connection to the compressed air hose must
be disconnected and all pressure completely dischar-
ged.
• Use only suitable blasting medium (12) for your
• sandblasting work. NOTE! We recommend using a
blasting medium (ground blast furnace slag) with a
grain size of 0.2 mm–0.8 mm and which has been
shown not to cause silicosis.
• Please ensure that the blasting medium (12) is to-
tally dry and not too coarse-grained. NOTE! The
maximum grain size is 0.8 mm!
• Open the screw cap (7) on the blasting medium con-
tainer (6) by turning it anti-clockwise.
• Fill the required amount of blasting medium (12) into
the blasting medium container (6).
• Ensure that you do not exceed the maximum fill le-
vel for the container of 850 ml.
• Afterwards, close the screw cap (7) on the blasting
medium container (6) by turning it clockwise.
NOTE REGARDING THE GRAIN SIZE OF THE
BLASTING MEDIUM! The larger/coarser the grain
size of the blasting medium used, the coarser the dirt
that can be removed using it. The supplied material,
on the other hand, is fi ne and thus more suitable for
the removal of items such as paint or rust film. The
fine material also causes less damage to the surfaces
being treated, meaning a choice can be made regar-
ding these. For coarse rust, for example, it is best to
use a coarse-grained blasting medium. Please obser-
ve the guidelines regarding maximum grain size.
Mount the collecting bag for sandblasting material
• Attach the collecting bag (4) to the appliance.
Select and fi tting attachments
• Start by selecting the appropriate attachment for the
job at hand (8, 9, 10, 11).
• Push the selected attachment fi rmly onto the jet
nozzle (5), ensuring that no air can escape from the
sides.

Using the compressed air sandblaster gun
• Carefully prepare the workpiece that is to be blas-
ted. Clean it if need be. NOTE! Layers of dust or fat
will significantly impair the results.
• Carefully cover or mask everything that is not to be
blasted.
• The distance between the attachment and the
surface being worked plays an important role and
should be kept as low as possible so that the blas-
ting medium (12) can be collected by the collecting
(4).
• The nearer you are to the workpiece, the smaller the
dispersion pattern and vice versa.
• Do a test run on an old workpiece to find out the
correct distance and avoid excessive reflection from
your workpiece.
Switching on:
• Move the compressed air sandblaster (1) close to
the area to be worked.
• Press the trigger (3) to start operating the com-
pressed air sandblaster gun .
Switching off :
• Trennen Sie das Gerät nach Abschluss der Arbeit
von der Druckluftquelle. HINWEIS Lösen Sie zuerst
den Schlauch von der Druckluftquelle und entfernen
Sie erst danach den Versorgungsschlauch von dem
Gerät. So vermeiden Sie ein unkontrolliertes Herum-
wirbeln des Versorgungsschlauches.
• Release the trigger to switch (3) off of the com-
pressed air sandblaster gun .
• Disconnect the appliance from the compressed air
source after you finish work. NOTE! First detach the
hose from the compressed air source before discon-
necting the supply hose from the appliance. In this
way you avoid uncontrollable thrashing about of the
supply hose.
Collecting bag for sandblasting material
NOTE! Do not re-use surplus sand-blasting material
from the collecting bag until it has been cleaned.

Disposal and recycling

The equipment is supplied in packaging to prevent it
from being damaged in transit. The raw materials in
this packaging can be reused or recycled. The equip-
ment and its accessories are made of various types of
material, such as metal and plastic. Defective compo-
nents must be disposed of as special waste. Ask your
dealer or your local council.
