3 Product Overview

3.1 Scope of delivery

The following components are included within the scope
of delivery:

A Mattress System including mattress base, CPR tag,
connector, handle with transport Cap attached, top
cover with quick release zip.
B Digital Control Unit
C Carry Bag
D User Manual
Medical Grade Power Cord (not shown)

3.2 Control Unit

The control unit provides the air supply to the Mattress.
It is controlled via a touch panel. There is a visual and
audible warning when pressure fails or power is interrupted.

The control unit redistributes the pressure by alternately
inflating and deflating cells. The cycle of alternating cells is
1 in 2 cell cycles. This enables the a frequent repositioning
of the pressure.

3.3 Mattress

SoftCloud™ Ace
The mattress comprises air cells which all feature a
permanently inflated internal cell to prevent the patient
"bottoming out" in the event of low pressure.
