2.4 Protection from electromagnetic radiation
This device complies with Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standards of European Union.
3. Disposal
Dispose the product according to your national regulations for disposal of electronic devices.
4. Contraindications
Do not use WellO2 without consulting your physician in case you have or suspect to have any of the following
conditions.
Emphysema
Pneumothorax
Unstable cardiovascular status
Recent myocardial infarction or pulmonary embolus
Chest, abdominal, or cerebral aneurysms
Recent eye surgery (including cataract)
Recent surgery of thorax or abdomen
Epilepsy
Nose bleeding
Pregnancy
5. Introduction for using the device
Remove the device from its packaging and check that all the following parts are included:
main body (8) and lid (9) with the basket (10) attached
power base (15) with power cord (14)
3 mouthpieces (5), (each in a sealed plastic bag)
breathing regulator (3), (in a sealed plastic bag)
extension hose (6), (in a sealed plastic bag)
nasal mask (16), (in a sealed plastic bag)
1. Check that all outer and inner packages are intact and remove the main body, the power base and the acces-
sories from their plastic bags.
2. Remove the lid (9) from the device (8) as shown in Figure 1 and remove the basket (10) from the lid (9) as
shown in Figure 2.
3. Disassemble the breathing regulator (3) by pulling the two parts off each other as shown in Figure 10.
4. Rinse water vessel of the device and the detached parts with clean water.
5. Execute the cleaning program according to the chapter 9 Execution of the Cleaning program starting
from step 1.
6. Add clean drinking water into main body's (8) vessel so that the water level is in between the MIN and MAX fill
level marks.
7. Attach the connecting element (2) and resistance setting ring (4) together as shown in Figure 10.
8. Attach the breathing regulator (3) to the lid (9) as shown in Figure 3. Check that the tube is at the lower site
of the regulator as indicated in the Figure 3.
