If you use the device for extensive training of inspiratory and expiratory muscles, you may add power by:

increasing the breathing resistance from the breathing regulator

increase air flow by exhaling and inhaling faster

making more exhaling and inhalation reps
For steam inhalation only, hold the resistance in the 0 position. Note that the heat produced by the appliance de-
creases during the exercise.
Breathing exercise with the nasal mask
The WellO package includes a separate nasal mask designed to deliver hot steam into the upper airways. Always

use the lowest breathing resistance (0) when training with the WellO
es the heat delicately. Always start with the lowest steam temperature (●).
1. Blow into the device through the extension hose (6) without a nasal mask to achieve steam.
2. Attach the mask (16) to the end of the hose (6) and press it tightly over the nose. Inhale the steam through the
mask until your lungs are full.
3. Breathe freely a few times.
4. Repeat steps 1 and 2 according to your own feelings for 1-4 times.
Once you are familiar with the nasal mask and your breathing power increases, you may add reps gradually up to 10
-15. The nasal mask exercise can also be done by exhaling into the nasal mask and then inhaling from the nasal
mask.
Breathing through the nasal mask causes small vibrations, which can improve mucus clearance from the airways.

8. Cleaning the device

1. Let the device cool down for 20 minutes.
2. Detach the mouthpiece (5) from the breathing regulator (3).
3. Open and remove the lid (9) by turning it 90 degrees counter clockwise and then lift it up as shown in Figure 1.
4. Drain the water completely. Be careful as the water may still be hot.
5. Detach the basket (10) from the lid (9).
6. Detach the breathing regulator (3) from the lid (9) by gently pressing the two snaps while pulling the parts apart
as shown in Figure 9.
7. Separate the two parts on the breathing regulator by pulling them apart as shown in Figure 10.
8. Rinse the water vessel with plenty of clean water and let dry.
9. Rinse the separate components with clean water, drain the excess of water and let them dry.
10.Clean the device every time you use it.
11.Periodically clean the device as described in chapter 9 execution of the Cleaning program.

Never immerse the device (8), the power base (15), or the power cord and the electric plug (14) in water since
it may cause risk of electric shock.

Never wash the main body (8) or power base (15) in dishwasher.

Do not use scouring pads. Do not use strong or abrasive cleaning agents.

The breathing regulator (3) contains two check valves. Do not attempt to remove them.

Always store the device dry and upright position. Never leave water inside the device or tubing.
