DISABLING THE "RED BLINKING"
FUNCTION
NOTE: If you disable the "ambient mode"
("AMB OFF"), the "RED BLINKING" function is
also automatically disabled.
If the "ambient mode" is enabled ("AMB ON"),
please follow the instructions below to disable
the red blinking function (which is triggered
when the ambient temperature exceeds the
optimal settings):
• With the device in "fever mode", press and
hold the "ON/OFF" button and then press the
"MEASUREMENT" button.
• Release both buttons and then press the
"MEASUREMENT" button until the display
looks like the display in Diagram 9 ("AMB
ON").
• To confirm this choice, press and hold
the "ON/OFF" button and then press the
"MEASUREMENT" button. The device will now
display the words "LED ON" (Diag. 11).
• Press once and release the "MEASUREMENT"
button to disable the leds. The words "LED
OFF" (Diag. 12) will appear on the display,
and to confirm this choice, press and hold
the "ON/OFF" button and then press the
"MEASUREMENT" button.
• You can now exit this section and return to
"fever mode".
