Unlocking
• Press and hold the LOCK/UNLOCK
button (22) for 3 seconds.
The symbol lights up and a beep
sounds. The control panel buttons are now
released.
Locking
• Press and hold the LOCK/UNLOCK
button (22) for 3 seconds.
You will hear a beeping sound and the
symbol will appear on the display.
If no button is pressed for 30 seconds,
the control panel will lock automatically.

Setting the temperature

CAUTION
Health hazard!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if exposed to low ambient tempera-
tures for extended periods of time. This
can then lead to an increase in temper-
ature in the fridge and freezer.
Always abide by the prescribed ambi-
■
ent temperature (see 'Climate cate-
gories' on page EN-43).
You can use the buttons FRZ.TEMP. (16) and
REF.TEMP. (21) to set the temperature in the
freezer and in the refrigerator independently
of each other.
• First select a medium setting.
• If, for example in summer, the ambient
temperature increases, select a lower set-
ting accordingly.
Freezer

1. Press the FRZ.TEMP. button (16) once.
The signal (17) will flash.
2. Press the FRZ.TEMP. button enough
times until the desired temperature is dis-
played. Once the indicator stays illuminat-
ed, the temperature has been set.
The following temperatures are available:
The ideal temperature for the freezer com-
partment is −18 °C.
Fridge

1. Press the REF.TEMP. button (21)once.
The signal (20) will flash.
2. Press the REF.TEMP. button enough
times until the temperature is displayed.
Once the indicator stays illuminated, the
temperature has been set.
The following temperatures are available:
The ideal temperature for the fridge is +6 °C.
