Maintenance

After each use, the handpiece and nozzle should be
cleaned in an ultrasound tank for 10 minutes to
fragment the powder, and then sterilized in an
autoclave.
If the nozzle should be blocked, use a manual file (K
type Ø0.6mm, 25mm long), or an ultrasonic file
(K15/25mm in endo mode, power setting 10 with a
SATELEC scaler.

Sterilization
Before sterilization it is advisable to put the handpiece
and nozzle in an ultrasound tank for 5 to 10 minutes to
fragment any residual powder.
The conditions and cycles of sterilization are:
- Equipment: autoclave
- Sterilization by wet heat: 134° C at 2 bars (200 KPa)
for 18 mins.
