6. Breakdowns

The mattress heating operates on
27 Volt low voltage current and is
protected against overheating. A
malfunction may be a nuisance but it is
never dangerous.
Your bed does not respond to your
handset
The batteries in the handset could be
nearly empty.
Solution:
Check the display of the handset
whether the battery empty symbol is
shown. Replace the batteries if
necessary.
Your bed does not respond to your
handset
The handset signal is not received by
the controls. In a very large space or
due to obstruction by a duvet, for
example, it may occur that the
handset signal does not reach the
controls.
Solution:
Aim the handset at the control box
under the bed and ensure that
anything blocking the signal is moved
aside.

The foot zone remains cold during
drying
That is normal as the foot zone always
remains cold during drying.
The mattress is cold/fails to warm up
The mattress connector beneath the
mattress may be making poor or no
contact. It could be that the mattress
connector came loose while the bed
was being made or the bed is in the
sitting position while no one is sitting
on it (this could also make the
mattress connector become detached).
The plug between the comfort layer
and the support layer could have
come loose (see also the Installation
guidelines).
Solution:
Adjust the bed to the flat position and
make sure that there is no sheet
between the mattress connectors.
Position the mattress precisely in the
middle of the mesh base and press
the mattress connectors together until
you hear a click. Also check the plugs
beneath the mattress cover in the
mattress.
The mattress is too hot
Possibly the thermal safeguard has
been activated. This could be the case
