N.B. : For the front brake, similarly to the rear brake, the sheaths supplied should be used.
The use of any other type of sheath (in particular aluminium bead or double-coated "more
rigid" sheaths) is not advisable.
Assembly :
1 / Dismantle the adjustable sheath stop (A) ⑨ (Fig. 1).
2 / Position the rear brake sheath from the right (EU) or left (UK) lever at the adjustable stop (A)
of ⑧ (Fig. 1) (reverse stops (A) and (B) for UK routing. Put a sheath end in position, if your end
has an integrated liner remove this, or cut it off. Make sure the liner supplied remains in the
correct place in its stop (A).
3 / Thread the rear brake cable through and bring it out through ⑨ (Fig. 1). Thread the adjustable
stop (A) on the cable through ⑨ (Fig. 1) and secure.
4 / Position a second piece of the sheath with a sheath end in the adjustable stop (A) of ⑨ (Fig.
1) up to the rear brake which has already been fitted.
Your 795 RS is equipped with fittings for two
bottle holders on the saddle tube and the
diagonal tube (Fig.28).
Take out the four M5 screws using a 4 mm
Allen key. Fit the bottle holders (see the
instructions for the relevant product) and
then tighten the screws again to a torque of
3 Nm.
IMPORTANT : only use the screws origi-
nally delivered.
