Fitting Brakes; All The Following Operations Must Be Carried Out By An Approved Dealer; Front Brake (Internal Routing) - look 795 RS Montageanleitung

ALL THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY AN APPROVED DEALER

When fitting the brakes, you will need the following tools :
• Set of Allen keys
• Wire cutter
• Liner ends
• Cable ends
PLEASE NOTE :
The shoes fitted on the frame kit at works (if your 795 RS is delivered without wheels) are only
compatible with aluminium brake band rims.

Front brake (internal routing)

1 / First fit the AEROSTEM stem with its shock-
absorbing elastomer and ADH 2 handlebar
(see § relevant instructions).
2 / Pass the liner ⑫ through the fork pivot.
Bring the liner out between the arms of the
fork to protrude by approximately 15 mm (see
Fig. 17). Cut the liner between 95mm and 105
A
mm (see Fig. 17).
3 / Place the liner in the brake tensioner
⑬ (Fig.16) ) (see ADH 2 handlebar instruc-
tions).
4 / Slide the brake cable into the liner from
the left-hand (EU) or right-hand (UK) shifter
until it comes out between the arms of the
fork.
5 / Thread the cable into the bend ⑪. Raise
the bend until it is stopped against the liner
and bring the liner into the tensioner ⑬,
pressing the bend into the fork so as to
position it in the tiebar.
