Filling of tank batteries with a fixed connected deliv-
ery nozzle and filling pressure between 0.5 and at
most 7.5 bar. This corresponds to a filling volume
rate of at least the number of tanks x 50 /min.

7.1.2 Heating operation

With a correctly fitted discharge set, heating oil
discharge is the same from all tanks. Unevenness
results from leaking connections in the discharge
system.
A too high filling level in the first tank can be traced
back to too high pump capacity at the burner. In such
cases, we recommend fitting of a single leg suction
arrangement. Please obtain one from your specialist
heating supplier.
7.2 Operation with other media approved according
to the General Construction Inspection Approval
Note the approval appendix in the operating manual
and also the applicable rules and regulations arising
from water legislation and combustible liquid
legislation!
7.3 Maintenance and cleaning of the CEMO safety
DWT tanks
CEMO Tanks do not require any special maintenance
measures. Corrosion inhibitors are not necessary.
The transparency of the tank wall material enables
easy level checking.
The leak detection system (optional) must be opera-
tionally checked once per year by a competent per-
son or under his responsibility.
The favourable properties of the CEMO safety
DWT tank results in only slight water condensation.
Oil sludge must be siphoned off before it reaches
the discharge hose by means of a probe inserted
through the plug opening.
The cleaning instructions in the approval appendix
are to be observed!

8. Overfill protectors
Insofar as tank systems used in storing water-pollut-
ing liquids require overfill protectors or limit indicators
in accordance with current legislation, they can be
equipped as followed:
8.1 CEMO safety DWT tanks for storage
of heating oil and diesel
The accessory packages for these tanks include
approved limit indicators and fitting instructions.
8.2 CEMO safety DWT tanks for storage
of lubricants
Overfill protectors with warning devices, approved
in accordance with VbF (German regulations for
combustible liquids) and WHG (German water
resources act), are offered for these tanks.
8.3 CEMO safety DWT tanks for storage
of other media
Please ask about special overfill protectors for
particular storage media.
9.

Warranty

Our warranty covers the durability of the material and
its fault-free workmanship in accordance with the
Terms of Warranty issued by CEMO. The prerequi-
site for granting warranty claims is exact compliance
with all the information given in the present transport,
installation and operating manual as well as with all
the applicable regulations.
