Installation and operating

1. Filling the tank
Unscrew the clamping levers (Pos. 1, 6x) on the
domed cover. The cover (Pos. 2) is opened and the
tank can be filled via the funnel (Pos. 3). The base of
the funnel holds a conical sieve that prevents coarse
impurities from entering the tank.
Note: The tank must be reclosed after every filling.
The tank may only be filled up to the open­
ing in the base of the funnel.
2. Emptying the tank
The tank is emptied via the suction pipe with the
2 ½" connecting thread (Pos. 4).
Note: The ventilation line (Pos. 5) must be opened
to empty the tank.
3. Leak display device LAS 39
Please refer to the operating instructions for the leak
display device
Note: The hand wheel for the test valve is
enclosed with the tank documents.
4. Readiness for transport
To transport the tank the ventilation line (Pos. 5) must
be disconnected from the tank using the tanker cou-
pling (Pos. 6, threaded tapered union nipple).
The opening is closed with the cover that is fastened
to the tanker coupling (Pos. 6).
Note: All tank openings must be firmly closed
before transport.

5. Recurrent tests, inspections
The CEMO GS-MOBIL must be subjected to an
inspection that meets the requirements of the pertinent
authorities at intervals of no longer than five years in
accordance with ADR 6.5.4.4.1 a with respect to com-
pliance with the design, including the labelling as well
as its internal and external condition and the perfect
function of the operating equipment. This does not
apply for the check of the interior space, that should
be inspected for the first time after ten years and then
every five years.
Note: A report on every inspection must be kept be
the owner at least until the next inspection.
The function of the leak indicator should be checked
at least once a year. The flow of the leak fluid should
be checked at the test valve according to 7.1 of the
operating instructions for the leak display device.
In addition the tank must be subjected to an inspec-
tion that meets the requirements of the pertinent
authorities at intervals of no longer than two and a half
years in accordance with ADR 6.5.4.4.1 b with respect
to its external condition and the perfect function of the
operating equipment.
Important
According to ADR 5.2.1.2 and 5.2.1.4 every fuel con-
tainer must be clearly and permanently identified with
the UN number of the filling and the hazard warning
label before transport.
Two copies each of the UN number for waste oil
(UN 1993) and the hazard warning label (flame on red
background) are enclosed .
