Changing the batteries of the external sensor

With an appropriate slot screwdriver unscrew the screw

which holds the battery compartment lid.
Ø
Place the battery compartment lid to the side and take out the

old batteries.
Ø
Now insert two fresh batteries of the type "1.5 V AAA"
according to the schema shown in the battery compartment,
and close the battery compartment once more.

The sensor now automatically begins transmitting the
temperature values measured to the main device. However,

you can also press the TX button in order to have the data
transmitted immediately. The main device acknowledges the

reception with an acoustic signal.
Ø
The external sensor has its own temperature display. With
the °C / °F button you can toggle this display between
°Celsius and °Fahrenheit.
Ø
If you wish to operate several external sensors (max. 3) on
one weather station, use the CHANNEL switch to select a
unique transmission channel for each one, otherwise the
main device cannot assign the radio signals properly to each
sensor.

Put the lid on once again and screw it tight.
Ø
Batteries are not to be disposed of in household waste.
Please take used batteries to the collection points
responsible, or to the place where you bought the new
batteries. Never throw batteries in fire.
